Cam Lund

Born in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, on June 7, 2004, Cam Lund passed through local preparatory hockey before moving up the North American ladder. He spent one season at Cushing Academy, sharing a line with Collin Graf during that stint; Graf would later become a teammate within the San Jose organization. Those formative stops helped shape Lund’s route toward college and pro hockey.

Lund broke out in 2021–22 with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL, posting 25 goals and 25 assists across 62 games — a clear sign of consistent offensive output at the junior level. He then enrolled at Northeastern for the 2022–23 season and went on to play three seasons with the Huskies. In his junior year he earned a place on the Hockey East Third All-Star Team, a conference honour that highlighted his development in college competition.

Selected 34th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Lund took the next step toward the pros in March 2025. He signed a three-year entry-level contract with San Jose on March 21, 2025, and made his NHL debut just days later, on March 27, in a 6–5 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. He scored his first NHL goal in his second game, on March 29, against the New York Rangers.

Under contract to the Sharks, Lund is currently assigned to the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL as a club prospect. A forward by position, he has shown a knack for producing offensively at each level he’s reached — from the USHL through college and into the professional ranks — and his quick transition to NHL action reflects his ability to adapt and contribute.
